Lolapalooza will be hosting the incredibly talented Christine Johnson to teach you how to string a pearl necklace! Christine is a deeply knowledgeable jewellery maker; her personal work is inspired by natural forms and the interconnection between light and shadow.
In this workshop, you will be taught how to string, and hand-knot a set of pearls. The pearls will be a single strand of cream freshwater pearls, fully strung and knotted with a plated silver or gold clasp and a take-home value c. £75. The real value of the course is not the necklace, it's actually learning how to string and knot using a centuries-old, traditional technique.
All materials with be supplied and extra materials to take home will be available for purchase.
The ticket is for the 6-hour session and will include light refreshments throughout the day including a delicious homemade lunch with both non-alcoholic and alcoholic fizz. Please leave a note at checkout if you have any allergies or dietary requirements.
This class will take place in Ripley, Surrey. This class will take place at one of Lolapalooza's two Ripley locations (either our shop or new studios) and will be confirmed with your ticket.
